What is Perimenopause?
Perimenopause is the period we refer to when women start developing menopause symptoms caused by the changes in their hormonal profile. This period can last from 2 years to 12 years, and for the women who had regular cycles throughout their lives, it’s largely demonstrated by the irregularity of cycle length but can also be accompanied by a variety of other symptoms. Menopause itself is only a day which marks exactly a year since your last period. So when we talk about menopause, most of the time we refer to the perimenopause symptoms. These change as the individual hormonal profile changes, so will vary from woman to woman. The average age of menopause is 51, but many women will start experiencing synonyms much earlier.
What is The Perimenopause Programme
This programme is designed to help women entering perimenopause better manage their symptoms, rebalance their hormones, and achieve life-changing health and fitness results like never before. The programme focuses on initiating a number of lifestyle changes which work to offset the effects of the hormonal changes in a woman’s body. This includes a focused resistance training plan to decrease muscle deterioration to improve bone density to prevent osteoporosis and a specific diet to support that, guidance on improving sleep hygiene and quality, advice on macronutrient tracking, supplements, as well as advice and guidance to offset any other symptoms you may be experiencing.
