PCOS
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects more than 1 in 10 women in this country, and it is the most known cause if infertility and one of the biggest drivers of obesity.
The prevalence of PCOS increased by 65% in past decade and yet we know so little about it.
For only a third of the women diagnosed with PCOS this diagnosis takes less than two years, and that’s after seeing on average 3 health practitioners. It’s really mind blowing.
Although PCOS cannot be cured, lifestyle modifications, correct diet and training plan are the best ways to manage the symptoms.
